In one battery train test, the 15 Pro Max lasts 10 hours and 30 minutes while the 14 Pro Max lasts 10 hours (both phones at 100% battery and on iOS 17). r/apple • iPhone 15 Pro Resident Evil gaming on external screen with USB C For my 11 Pro (and now my 13 Pro), I used a 12W charger, and any "100% charging" effects seem to be minimal. As a side note, I've been doing some battery tests, and fast charging on my 13 Pro only seems to be used below 60%ish (IIRC -- I don't have my notes handy). Seeing that I commented on this thread about the issues I had with my iPhone 14 Pro Max 16.1 I thought I would send an update. I called Apple and had my phone replaced - this literally solved every issue I experienced with iOS 16.1 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Day 1 has been fantastic so far. Knock on wood and fingers crossed. iPhone 15 Pro: 3274 mAh (14 Pro: 3200 mAh) iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4422 mAh (14 Pro Max: 4323 mAh) Much smaller increase than what was rumoured back in July , which explains why the rated battery life on Apple’s website is the same as the previous gen for all models I'm an average smartphone user. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and lately I have been feeling that my battery is draining faster than my old iPhone 11 Pro Max. Also, every day I see crashes, overheating at certain times, things that make me wonder if I really made a good purchase with this phone. The wonders of a battery change. I bought my iPhone 12 Pro in December 2020 and for 6 months it ran the same as it did on day 0, until the battery life crashed hard out of nowhere (likely induced by overcharging during lockdown in New Zealand). Battery health was 88%, but it felt far worse given that I could be down to 60% by the time I got TwoCables_from_OCN. • 2 yr. ago. The battery life of the next version of iOS can't be judged while the next version of iOS is still in development due to the fact that it hasn't been optimized yet. So no, the battery life with iOS 16 Developer Beta 2 isn't as good as it might be once iOS 16 is completed and released since by then it will have No mentions of battery fixes in it though. Nearing 6 hours of on screen time with extensive use of Instagram and Twitter and am at 52%. Usually my phone would be at 15% by this time. 8undy. • 2 mo. ago. I’m hoping 17.1 will make the battery life more efficient. So far, the Pro Max is not lasting as advertised, SHAME! For me, the 11 pro max was more than fast enough, but the one big gripe I had about it was that using the camera would unpredictably kick other apps out of memory. With the extra RAM on the 13 pro max, that doesn't happen any more. I like the 120 Hz screen, and battery life is even better, and so.are the cameras, but that should all be expected. I think mine IP14 pro max battery not last like on previous iOS, normally when I left home with 100% and I have not used the phone it was still at 100% after even 10-12 hours, but now on iOS17 after few hours it’s 96% without any using. Yes, I guess there’s some background stuff happening for a day or two after a major update. 4kxGDW.
