Fiat Punto – (Rudiecast / Shutterstock) The most common causes for AC not cooling properly in Fiat Punto are low or overcharged refrigerant, compressor malfunction, clogged cabin air filter, dirty condenser or evaporator coils, dirty or sluggish blower motor, and bad fuse or relay. Less common causes are clogged expansion valve or orifice
Air input, in/recirc switch, blower, output. (cooling is in there somewhere too). The air input/recirc switch will be a combination of outside air and inside air inputs to the switch. Given that the smell goes on recirculation - I can only surmise that its coming from the outside air input.
The Fiat Grande Punto is actually on an 18,000 mile service interval. The air filter is scheduled to be changed at 36,000 miles and the plugs at 18,000 miles. The oil and filter must be changed every year if the annual mileage is less than 10,000 miles.
1. Low Fuel Pressure. Typical Fuel Pump. If your Punto isn’t getting enough fuel, or any fuel at all, it may have a bad fuel filter or a bad fuel pump . Without the proper amount of fuel entering the combustion chamber, the Punto will crank but not start. 2.
Feb 24, 2013. #13. The kit takes the excess petrol which is normally sent through the exhaust and sends it back to the combustion chamber. Which in fact a Fiat motor already does but very unefficient. Most cars send petrol in liquid form to the combustion chamber and just before the end gets turned into a very poor mist.
Can someone telll me how to change in cabine air filter (polen filter). Instruction with photos wil be great. Thanks in advance Forgot to mention it is 1.2 Grande Punto.
Fuel pump in the petrol engine should make 3,5 bar (little drop is acceptable, like 0,1-0,2 bar, no problem - it must be serious drop to cause problems, like a half or full 1 bar). Pressure on the rail in the engine bay, in theory. But you can
Jul 7, 2013. #1. Hi there. My son has a Grande Punto and the air bag in the roof and drivers side seat went off because of him clipping a kerb. There was only damage to the drivers front wheel and no other damage, so he went off to our local Fiat dealer and they quoted £1000 for replacement. This can't be right that the air bags went off just by
FIAT PUNTO GRANDE PUNTO Do I have a fuel filter The garage that serviced my Grande punto 1.2 active said I should replace the fuel filter because Im having the spark plugs done. I searched around online to check prices but cant even find a fuel filter for non-diesel engines.
Right - for future reference Couldn't find any local breakers with a Grande Punto (weird) So took the blower fan out again and thoroughly cleaned and lubricated the motor brushes were right down to the brass. Turns out it doesn't *NEED* the little carbon brushes all that much!
