Epiphone. (Ver. 3.5) The Epiphone serial number decoder currently supports 12 serial number formats from 25 factories. Vintage numbers from 1932 to 1970 are supported. Serial numbers from 70' and 80's era Epiphone guitars made in Japan are not supported. The reason for this is that there is no reliable documentation from this time period.
Another very knowledgeable connaisseur of vintage horns (Paul Ayick aka bulos) posted that to get the year of manufacture of a Martin trumpet, you divide the serial number by 4000 and add 1906. The Martin Deluxe, a horn based largely on the Committee that originated around 1950 continued in the line-up, but not the Committee. So there were no "Martin Committee" models 1964-1971. Wurlitzer serial numbers are all in the 700,000s. Wurlitzer sold Martin to Leblanc at the end of 1971.
